Ausdance SA is the leading provider of dance services for South Australia.
It is recognised as a leader in the field of dance through the provision of dance services, advocacy, activity, education, and professional development for dance artists, practitioners and enthusiasts throughout South Australia.
The Ausdance SA offices and studio are centrally located in Adelaide, at Level 3 The Atrium Station Arcade (between Hindley St and North Terrace).
Ausdance SA programs include: Choreolab; Community Dance Space; Dancers in Schools; ASAIDA — the Ausdance SA Indigenous Dance Alliance; Information, Advice & Referrals; aDm the quarterly dance magazine for South Australia and Ausdance News the monthly email bulletin.

Programs
Choreolab
Choreolab provides professional development opportunities for early career and more established independent dance practitioners. The annual program includes subsidised access to rehearsal space, in-studio seasons, in-theatre seasons, performance opportunities, plus forums, workshops and master-classes. Choreolab seasons are presented each year in May and October. Inclusion in the program is by an expression of interest process. Email us to register interest.
Choreolab provides a showcase for independent artists and has featured choreographers such as Gina Rings, Alison Currie, Aidan Munn, Glen McCurley, Carol Wellman Kelly, Daniel Jaber, Gala Moody, Lina Limosani, Kelly Alexander, Naida Chinner, Amanda Phillips, Ade Suharto, Katrina Lazaroff, Tobiah Booth-Remmers, Anna Kingston and many others. Choreographers have successfully utilised Choreolab as a pathway to developing larger scale funded works for presentation at the Adelaide Fringe and Melbourne’s Next Wave festival, for inSPACE at the Adelaide Festival Centre and for production by major companies.

The Community Dance Space
The Community Dance Space program in the Atrium studio offers a wide range of adult dance classes for independent artists and culturally diverse community based groups, in styles such as: Contemporary; Classical; Breakdance; Brazilian Samba; Funk; Tribal Belly Dance; Morris Dancing; Hip Hop and Lyrical. The space is available for hire with discount rates for independent artists. Download the Class schedule for more information.

Dancers in Schools
The Dancers in Schools program enables schools to book tutors for exciting dance workshops through Ausdance SA. Dancers with experience in a range of styles such as Hip Hop, Breakdance , Contemporary and culturally diverse styles such as Capoeira and Indigenous dance are available for single sessions, half days, full days or for a series of classes. Regional tour packages are available on request. The Dancers in Schools program achieves approximately 10,000 attendances each year.

ASAIDA
ASAIDA, the Ausdance SA Indigenous Dance Alliance provides professional development opportunities for Indigenous dancers with special programs aimed at supporting young Indigenous dancers. ASAIDA facilitates networking, training, workshops, and performance opportunities for Indigenous dancers.
