Dance Week
Dance Week in 2008 is a celebration Indigenous Dance. The festivities include:
- Welcome to Country at King Street Arts Centre (Sun 4 May)
- Free short lunchtime performances held in the city malls during lunch hour (12pm-2pm daily)
- Free evening workshops at King Street Arts Centre’s professional dance studios (5pm-8pm daily).
- Free outdoor showcase performance presented on the final weekend of the program (Sat 10 May, 5-8pm The Landing@the Esplanade)
- Forum for Indigenous Artists – Kings Street Arts Centre (Sun 11 May Time TBA)

Country Week
Are you a teacher in a regional secondary school? Country Week is for you and your students! This programme is designed for students from WA regional schools and involves a week of dance activity focusing on skill development, chorographic development and performance. The programme is run as part of the Schools Country Week Program.

Outback Dance
Ausdance WA ventures to the Outback! In collaboration with a regional community, Ausdance WA will develop an integrated program that includes dance workshops for schools and the community, professional development opportunities for regional artists and community performance.

Dance Dialects
Calling all multicultural dance artists! Dance Dialects is a project supporting the creation and presentation of new multi-cultural dance works by professional artists. These new works will be presented 29 and 30 November.
