Dance new website www.tracksdance.com.au was launched by the Chief Minister
of the Northern Territory on 29 November.
Ausdance NT ran a weekend dance intensive in Katherine in October, followed
two weeks later by a musical theatre workshop with Troy Woodcroft on
the eve of his departure for London. Katherine also hosted a group of
Darwin Latin dancers who presented workshops and a social evening in
November. Planning for 2004 is well underway, including a series of youth
dance workshops, The Fuel, which are part of a joint initiative with
Tracks, called UpFroNT. This will assist young dancers from various cultural
backgrounds to hone their dance and performance skills.
