The closest accommodation to the Kelvin Grove campus is in the Spring Hill area where several serviced apartments are located. The major accommodation chains; Radisson, Novotel, Ibis, Sheraton, Hilton, Park Royal, Marriott and others have facilities in the city centre. Several apartment/motel complexes are located near the city centre on the south side of the river, from South Bank to Kangaroo Point. Spring Hill and the city is a 20-30 minute walk from the Kelvin Grove campus, or a 10 minute trip by car or bus. Connection from the city to the Kelvin Grove campus can also be made via the free QUT inter-campus bus, which leaves regularly from QUT Gardens Point. Official Conference AccommodationAccommodation for the hotels below can be booked (with conference discount), when registering for the conference. You will book these hotels via the conference secretariat, when registering for the conference. Your credit card details will be provided to the hotel as security for your booking and the equivalent of one night's room rate may be debited by the hotel as a deposit. You will be responsible for settling your account upon arrival at the hotel. The Conference Organiser does not process payment for your accommodation. Fully catered student rooms ($47 per day, includes three meals, min stay 3 nights) are also available in vacation periods.
